Sooner or later the questions that concern us
will have less to do with the answers
and more to do with finding that fine line
of deep heartfelt inquiry
that leads us ever closer to
the sources of meaning and passion
that rests at the core of our life.
The passion forms the roots that grow the tree,
reawakening a desire to explore new possibilities
and loosen our concern for rightness
and controlvalues that many of us
learned at school.
Some questions bring us closer to the answer
other draw us into the mystery.
It is to these that we must go
for it is only when we choose to
live out the questions that are larger than
our own life
that our life and our work truly begins.
